Leon Adamson is both a designer and sole creator of Leon Adamson Furniture. A lifelong passion for art and design and the aesthetics and of the world around him, joined with an ability to fashion and manipulate materials brings fruition to his visions and ideas.

The focus is always on sharp design, beautiful materials with outstanding quality and finish.

Even the simplest of pieces is a big undertaking. There is huge scope for variation, within the design, construction techniques used and selected materials, as well as being something that will not tolerate a lack in strength or structural integrity.

My ambition for Chair One, for example, was to produce something contemporary that was able to emphasise the natural beauty of the materials with organic fluid lines. This chair needed to be something that wasn’t too familiar, a chair that could be sat in for long periods with an emphasis on support and comfort. I wanted it to appear to embrace and hold the occupant. To achieve this, many technics were used, to shape and conjoin the individual components.
